And houses into birthday cakes
And spreading sugar over lakes

Hi, I came across your site when I was searching for Winter Morning. It's great to see a blog about Ogden Nash and I agree that the world could do with more Ogden!
We've got heavy snow in Scotland at the moment and I thought of Winter Morning.
I've made a short post on my blog about my memory of the poem.
Hi David, As someone passionate about food, you should check out Ogden Nash's book 'Food' if you haven't already. It was published posthumously and is a collection on one of his more frequent subjects. Thanks for your comments!
